Dataset description
The use of purse seines shall be prohibited within a distance of 300 metres from the coast or within the 50 m isobath when that depth is reached at a shorter distance from the coast. Purse seines are purse seine nets whose lower part is held together by a cable, connected to the lead file by means of rings, which allows the net to be closed.Seine purse seines can be used to catch small or large pelagic species or demersal species.
