Dataset description
The recovery of the territory of Emilia-Romagna in summers 1992 to 93 from about 750 km high shows in conventional colours the spectral response (i.e. the ability to reflect light) of the objects in the nearby infrared (band 4), medium (band 5) and in the part of the visible visible dominated by red (band 3). The soil resolution element, that is to say, the minimum size of what can be detected by the shooting used, is 25 x 25 metres: Very contrasting objects may be identifiable even if they are smaller, such as dams near Ravenna.
