Dataset description

The seismic microzonation map service shows seismic microzonation studies drawn up by Lombard municipalities under the National Seismic Microzonation Addresses and Criteria (ICMS 2008). The map service reports the contents of the “Charter of Surveys, the Geological-Technical Charter and the Charter of Homogeneous Microzones in Seismic Perspective (MOPS — First Level)”. The reference stratigraphy can be displayed of each microzone. In the map of the MOPS are represented the stable zones (which do not change the seismic motion compared to a rigid ground with Vs >= 800 m/s and flat, with a slope less than 15 degrees); stable zones susceptible to local amplification (Lithostratigraphic amplification for Vs< 800 m/s and thicknesses> 5 m, topographical amplification on rock reliefs); stable zones susceptible to instability (side instability, liquefaction, active and capable faults, differential failures). Municipalities that have received funding and for which microzonation studies will be gradually made available are also visible on the home screen. Also through the survey paper it is possible to access the pdf showing the outcome of the test. To use this service in other visualisation software, copy the address in Online Resource. The WMS version is 1.3.0.
