Ferens PLUS is the official free software that performs datum and coordinate transformations on numerical cartography files, point coordinate files, or individual points among the main reference systems in Umbria (ETRF89, ED50, ROMA40, Bessel cadastral), also considering the respective mapping systems (WGS84/ETRF2000, UTM-ETRF89, UTM-ED50, Gauss-Boaga and Cassini-Soldner), limited to the geographical area of the Umbria Region.
The algorithms used are all geodetic.
