Statistical Summer Centres — Total registered children broken down by year

The dataset contains statistical data on the total number of children enrolled in summer centres broken down by year. Children and young people from 3 years old (at preschool) to 14 years old (who attend secondary school) resident or attending the schools of the district of reference may be enrolled in summer camps. Children residing outside Florence and not attending the schools of the Municipality of Florence can register compatible with the places available at the end of registration, with an increased rate. The management model is of a mixed type: in economics the administrative service, in procurement the educational one. Until 2013, this management formula covered the months of June, July and August. Since 2013, the month of August has been managed entirely under concession and organised on a weekly basis, with the result that from 2013 the information on members only refers to the months of June and July.
