Structure by age, gender and marital status of the population living in Tuscany. Year 2021

It is an Istat elaboration that, starting from the data of the Permanent Census of the population, calculates the municipal resident population by sex, year of birth and marital status at 31 December of each year. The resident population is made up of persons, of Italian and foreign nationality, who have a habitual residence in the national territory even if they are temporarily absent. For the protection of statistical secrecy, for municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants the data for the modalities of the civil status united\ and civilly, already in civil union (by dissolution of the union) and already in civil union (by the death of the partner), are not disseminated and have been added respectively to the married civil status modalities\e, divorced and widowed\e. Therefore the sum of the individual municipal data, for some modalities of the civil status, may differ from the provincial, regional or divisional data.
