Dataset description

‘Roses of currents’ in graphic form and tables by source class and current intensity. The current data come from the historical series of surface currents (-5 m) reconstructed through the oceanographic model AdriaROMS, operating at the HydroMeteorological Service of ARPA Emilia-Romagna. The polar current diagrams and the associated frequency tables were produced taking into account the 2005-2007 data for four points of the model calculation grid, located on a reference bathymetry of about 10 m, iin correspondence with the localities of Comacchio, Ravenna, Cesenatico and Misano.
