Technical Paper Numerica scale 1:2000 Sicilian Region — CART2000

In 2003 the Department of Urban Planning of the Regional Department of the Territory and Environment within the framework of Measure 5.05 of the P.O.R. Sicilia 2000-2 006 started the realisation of digital cartography project at scale 1:2000 G.I.S. format of urban centers of the entire Region called CART2000.The realisation took place through 4 plots called 1-2-3-4 and according to specific tender specifications.The Numerica Technical Charter in scale 1:2000, represented in Gauss’s projection, it is framed in the Regional Technical Charter on a scale of 1:10.000, so each sheet at 1:2000 scale will be equal to the 25th part of the section of CTR. Planimetric tolerances:- The permissible maximum error (tolerance) in the planimetric position of clearly identifiable points on the map with respect to the same ground points, whose position has been determined with measurements of sufficient precision, is: 0.80 m. — The maximum error (tolerance td) from which the measurement of the distance D between two well-identified points, taken from the card, highlighted with high precision measurements, can be affected is: TD (0.60 + D/1000) m., if it is D 600 m., td 1.20 m. if it is D > 600 m. Altitude tolerance- The maximum error (tolerance) th from which may be affected the altitude of an isolated point, shown on the paper, highlighted according to high precision measurements, is: th = m.0,60. The tolerances for gradients are:tq 0.60 m. +D/1000 m. for D 300 m.tq 0.90 m. for D > 300 m.The maximum error (tolerance) tcl from which the altitude of a point belonging to a level curve may be affected is: TCL m. 0,90 For the level curves drawn in those parts of land covered by dense perennial vegetation, the maximum error from which the altitude of a point belonging to it may be affected is: th = half the average height of the vegetation.Each sheet at 1:2000 scale will be marked by a number and a name. The number will be of the type XXXYYZZ in which the first three digits designate the sheet in scale 1:50.000, the fourth and the fifth designate the section of CTR (01 to 16), the sixth and the seventh designate sheet 1:2000. The name will, as a rule, be that of the capital municipality with subtitles indicating the area included in the survey (district, hamlet, inhabited nucleus, etc.).
