Tourist areas — Metropolitan City of Florence

Identification of the tourist areas on which are articulated the statistical surveys of arrivals and presences of tourist movements in the accommodation facilities of the territory of the Metropolitan City of Florence. The statistical survey of the movement of tourists in accommodation establishments is provided for by the National Statistical Programme, is regulated by EU directives and by the Istat circulars and the data are validated according to the quality controls indicated by Istat, holder of the survey, and by the Tuscany Region. The survey is carried out by the Department of Business Services, Controls and Statistics. The Office shall collect and control the data. Until June following the reference year, annual data shall be considered provisional.
