Vegetation heritage — Charter of natural and semi-natural formations IV — V level CLC

The map of natural and semi-natural formations of the Lazio Region through an in-depth study at the 4th and 5th levels Corine Land Cover of the Land Use Charter of the Lazio Region scale 1:25,000 was drawn up as part of project APQ 7 — III integrative agreement, intervention No 1 "Regional ecological network project and regional biodiversity plan. The cartography was carried out in order to deepen the level of detail of the classes 3-4-5 of the Corine Land Cover by aligning the level with classes 1 and 2 already elaborated by the Department of Town and Country Planning in the Regional Land Use Charter on the scale 1:25,000, using a standard methodology recognised at national level. The study at the 4th and 5th level of the natural and semi-natural classes of the CUS Lazio Region, allows to define a single reference system in the classification of land cover as an indispensable tool for the planning of the town/urban planning, for the updating of the Parks Plan and for the construction of the Regional Ecological Network. The final product is a reliable tool of substantial support for decisions for monitoring and land management
