Vegetation map — Regional Park of the High Apennines Modenese Foglio Ovest — 1994 edition

The vegetation map describes the distribution in the area of vegetation and its biological and ecological characteristics. In the vegetation map, the areas relating to the various types of vegetation are indicated by abbreviations, while the complexes of similar types are grouped together with colours. For each elementary area, the percentage coverage of the vegetation is also expressed by graphic symbols. Each map is accompanied by a legend which for each stationed vegetation unit provides information on the phytosociological category to which it belongs, the dominant species, the habitat and the degree of artificial nature. The minimum unit represented shall be 50 m per 50 m.
