Water monitoring networks

The dataset represents the qualitative and quantitative monitoring stations of the waters belonging to the regional monitoring network established pursuant to Legislative Decree 152/1999 and subsequently adapted (since 2009) to Legislative Decree 152/2006 transposing the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC (WFD) and Legislative Decree 30/2009 transposing Directive 2006/118/EC for groundwater. The stations are subdivided into: — automatic surface water bodies- automatic bodies of groundwater bodies- manuals of bodies of surface water- manuals of bodies of groundwaterIn all stations there are location data (UTM WGS 84 coordinates), date of activation and disposal and specific monitoring results, in particular: — automatic monitoring stations of water bodies superficiali:annali hydrological, hydrometric level and average daily flow rate; for stations with automatic samplers and multiparametric probes also continuously analysed parameters such as Conductivity, Ion ammonium, Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Temperature, Torbidity. The data are available from 1995.- automatic monitoring stations of water bodies: piezometric (diezometric altitude s.l.m.), subdivision and temperature. Data are available from 2000.- manual monitoring stations for water bodies: general (nutrients, organic load, oxygenation, temperature, pH), organic pollutants, plant protection products, metals, biological parameters and indices provided for in Legislative Decree 152/1999 and Legislative Decree 152/2006.
