Dataset description

Data are compiled on transactions with residential space groups registered in the Cadastre Information System in the composition of apartment properties. Average apartment transaction prices are presented in EUR/m² and are calculated as a statistical indicator of the median (average value in a sorted set of numbers). __ Taking into account price differences in the real estate market for multi-apartment buildings built after 2000, separate apartment transactions:__ * Buildings built before 2000; * In buildings built after 2000 or new project houses. __Average transaction prices are presented by different groups of territories__: * Apartments in buildings built before 2000 — in Riga, Jurmala, other state towns, Riga impact areas, cities with higher value levels and cities with a lower value level together with rural areas; * New project apartments in Riga, Jurmala and Riga impact areas. All graphs with vertical lines show the reference point of real estate market information used for a valid cadastral value base — 2013 and the baseline of the market information used for the new base — 1 July 2019. Statistics on transactions published for the first time in 2018 may differ from those currently prepared, as the market database has been supplemented with transactions of previous years which have been registered in the Land Register later, as well as the conditions for the preparation of data sets for the selection of territories, objects and transaction prices have been specified. In accordance with the administrative territorial reform, the division of territories has been changed and it also affects the results of calculations. An explanation of the changes in the territorial clusters can be found here: Data available from 2011
