Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) or CPV classification. CPV nomenclature classification established by Commission Regulation (EC) No 213/2008 of 28 November 2007 amending Regulation (EC) No 2195/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV). The CPV nomenclature applies to public procurement in order to standardise the indications used by the contracting authorities to indicate the subject of their procurement.
