Dataset description

Protection zones around the water abstraction points are provided for in the Protection Zones Law and Cabinet Regulation No 43 of 20 January 2004 “Methods for the Determination of Protection Zones around Water Supply Points” (hereinafter — 20.01.2004). MK not. No.43). Protection zones shall be defined for existing, designed and/or reconstructed water abstraction points. The chemical protection zones around the groundwater deposits are calculated individually for each field of MKN No 43 “Methods for determining protection zones around water abstraction points”. The protection zone dataset shall contain individual chemical protection zones around the entire field consisting of one or more wells with a total water consumption greater than 100 m³/day.
