Dataset description

This database was developed during a study conducted in 2016 by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure in collaboration with LVI (Lëtzebuerger Vëlosinitiativ) and the municipalities of DICI and Ulezechtdall (Luxemboug-Ville, Strassen, Bertrange, Leudelange, Hesperange, Walferdange, Steinsel, Lorentzweiler, Lintgen, Mersch). It represents the “cyclability” of the entire road network of the perimeter studied. Each road is classified according to a level of difficulty and dangerousness of use by cyclists according to the same logic as the ski slopes (from “adapted to beginners” to “only for experts”. A detailed explanation of the classification is part of the dataset. These data represent the situation at the time of completion of the study in June 2016. The subsequent changes in the cycling network are therefore not repeated.
