Energy Performance Database of Heat Production Plants

With the **reform of the EEOS Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EEOS) for the period from **1 January 2021**, the best-known and **most widely used **measure** is the **replacement of a heat production facility with a new, more efficient installation**. This standardised measure has been thoroughly reviewed with regard to the calculation method. To perform an energy saving calculation under the OEOS for the replacement of a heating installation, **new method requires to be known for the new installation, **data** such as **seasonal energy efficiency, energy class, rated power, declared drawback profile or sound noise level**. Given that the manufacturers of the installations have such data available to meet the European obligations in the context of the reporting and registration of each marketed product, this database aims to ** make these data available in a structured and systematic manner for the optimal functioning of the OSEF**. Its introduction will remove possible barriers to simple application of this measure.
