Dataset description

This table contains data on absenteeism of workers aged 15 to 75, by occupational level and occupation. This includes workers who are employed but do not provide work due to illness, maternity leave or other temporary career breaks. Furthermore, the table also contains data on the last case of absenteeism of employees. This absenteeism can be more than 12 months ago. Data available from: 2014. Status of the figures: Figures in this table are final. Changes as of 20 April 2022 Figures belonging to the category ‘0911 Farmers and Foresters’ for 2016 and figures belonging to the category ‘1116 Other Personal Services’ for 2014 were incorrectly displayed. This has been corrected. The annual figures for 2021 have also been added. Changes as of 31 July 2020 A change has been made in the ROA-CBS 2014 profession classification (BRC2014). In the new version of the BRC2014, the profession of ‘0551 Managers z.n.d.’ is no longer classified at vocational level ‘unknown’, but at occupational level 4. As a result, the results of occupational level “unknown” and occupational level 4 have changed for the years 2014 to 2018. Changes as of 29 August 2019 The figures belonging to the category ‘occupational level unknown’ were incorrect for 2014 and 2016. For 2015 to 2017, these were unjustified as unknown, insufficiently reliable or secret. This has been corrected. When are new figures coming? The figures for the previous year will be published in May.
