Dataset description

This table provides insight into the absenteeism rate of employees employed by private companies and the government in the Netherlands and who are resident in the Netherlands. This absenteeism rate is based on a survey among employees that collects information on the number of sick days of the people surveyed in the past year. The absenteeism rate according to employees shall be broken down according to the following characteristics: — working conditions, such as work pace and unfavourable working attitude; — victimisation, such as, for example, workers dealing with intimidation; — burn-out complaints. Data available from: 2008 to 2013. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 16 October 2015 None, this table has been discontinued. The reason for this is that due to design changes, figures are no longer comparable on a continuous basis. Changes as of 16 December 2014 There have been rounding differences for several years for the variables ‘Diseases according to employees’, ‘Ziekteverzuim: working conditions“,”Ziekteverzuim: victimisation“and”Ziekteverzuim: burn-out complaints. This is corrected in this table. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable, the current table has been discontinued. A table with new figures will appear in November.
