Dataset description

This table shows the area cultivated and harvested, the yield per hectare and the total yield in a harvest year, by arable crop. Both the results of the preliminary eye stimulation and the results of the final harvest are shown in this table, as well as the percentage of difference. In order to arrive at the yield figure, a provisional harvest reduction is first made. This will take place in August to October. After this estimate, the final harvest estimate shall be made in the months of December to March of the year following the harvest year. These figures are provisional until the end of September in the year following the harvest year. Data available from: 2010. Status of the figures The figures for the provisional eye estimate are no longer being adjusted. Change with effect from 29 October 2021: The provisional 2021 figures for the harvested area for flax and linseed have been added to the table. The provisional figures for 2021 for gross yield per hectare and total gross maize, corn cob mix, cut maize, flax, linseed, hemp, chicory, brown beans, total potatoes, ware potatoes, sugar beet, sowing and seed and planting gear (2th year) have been added to the table. When will there be new figures? The provisional estimates for cereals will be published at the end of September of the harvest year. Provisional estimates for other crops will be published at the end of October of the harvest year. The preliminary estimates are not updated in this table after publication. The final harvest estimate figures are published at the end of January and updated at the end of March of the year following the harvest year. These figures are provisional until the end of September in the year following the harvest year.
