Assessment of politics and democracy; 2006, 2010 and 2012

This table contains the opinion on politicians and politicians requested from voters. The 2006 National Kiezers Survey asked for the opinion on government policy in the period 2003-2006 (Balkenende II/III cabinet), in 2010 the opinion on the policy pursued in 2006-2010 (Balkenende IV). In 2012, the opinion on government policy in 2010-2012 (Rutte I) was asked. Specifically asked for the following aspects: economic situation of the Netherlands; employment; personal financial situation; satisfaction with government policy in general; satisfaction with the functioning of democracy in the Netherlands and the European Union; political expectations; political self-confidence. In 2006 and 2010, the political cynicism of the electorate was questioned, not in 2012. In 2006, it was also asked whether there is a gap between voters and voters in the Netherlands. The table distinguishes its various background characteristics, such as gender, age and voting behavior. Since 2010, the category D66 has been listed separately.
