Asylum requests; citizenship, sex and age 2007-2016

This table provides data on numbers of asylum requests per month, quarter and year, broken down by citizenship, sex and age group (up to 18 years and 18 years and older) of the asylum seeker. Apart from the total number of requests the number of first requests is also included. The table has been discontinued because these figures can also be found in table Asylum requests and relatives; nationality, gender and age (Dutch only). Data available from: 2007 until 2016. Status of the figures: At the end of the calendar year, all figures for that year will be replaced by final figures. The displayed figures relate to asylum seekers who are formally identified and registered. Provisional figures in this table will not be replaced by final figures. Changes as of March 29 2016: None, the table has been discontinued. When will new figures be published? Not applicable.
