Dataset description

This table shows the number of persons and the percentage who received care without residence during the reporting year for which a personal contribution has to be paid. The number of hours of care was also given in the reporting year. The figures are broken down by type of care, age, gender and household composition. Up to and including reporting year 2006, the costs of this care were borne by the General Act on Special Care Costs (AWBZ). As of 2007, household care has been transferred from the AWBZ to the Social Support Act (WMO). Data available from 2004 to 2010 Status of the figures: The figures are final. Changes as of 19 September 2013: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? At the beginning of 2014, new tables with data on indication and use of AWBZ and/or Wmo care will be published.
