Dataset description

A basic registration is a registration officially designated by the government with data required by all public institutions to be used in the performance of public-law tasks. This could include deploying emergency services, efficiently determining the right to benefit or reviewing licence applications. When using the data, the privacy of the citizen is guaranteed (source: digital government.nl). There are 10 basic registrations. This dataset contains references to the Nijmegen versions of these basic registrations that are available as open data. The municipality of Nijmegen offers the following two basic registrations as open data: — Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings (BAG) — Basic Registration Large-Scale Topography (BGT) The Basic Registration Underground (BRO) is not yet offered as open data. The municipality of Nijmegen is still investigating whether and how this dataset will be published. Of some of the basic registrations, the municipality of Nijmegen is not a source holder and therefore does not offer them via the Nijmegen data portal. These are the basic registrations: — Basic registration Land Registry (BRK) — Basic Registration Topography (BRT) — Basic Vehicle Registration (BRV) — Commercial register (HR) A number of basic registrations are not made public because they cannot be characterised as open data. This concerns: — Basic Income Registration (BRI) — Basic Person Registration (BRP) — Basic registration WOZ (WOZ)
