Bathing water research bathing zones 2020

This stock concerns the national stock of sites to which RWS has assigned the bathing water function, including associated bathing water zones. The information is updated annually. The assignment is formalised annually in a letter from the HID of RWS WVL to the provinces. Under the condition of job assignment, the province designates the bathing water locations. At the designated bathing water locations, RWS performs legal tasks: drawing up and keeping up-to-date a bathing water profile, monitoring bathing water quality during the bathing season and taking measures to improve bathing water quality if the monitoring shows that bathing water quality is not in order.
