Biomass — waste wood from households (a,b and c) 2019

To obtain data on the amount of wood released as residual streams within South Holland, this flow is initially divided as follows: — A/-B-wood from households — C-wood from households — Wood from (nature) landscape A-wood is non-impregnated, unpainted and untreated wood, which is often recycled. B wood is about less quality wood, which can serve excellently as a raw material for the production of pallets, bobbins and chipboard, for example. When the wood is very poorly ready, it is used as a biofuel for generating sustainable energy in bioenergy plants. C –wood is treated and impregnated as for example bielzen, garden wood and fence poles (Northern Dutch Cleaning Service, NNRD).
