This table contains figures on live born children among the population of the Netherlands. The data in this table can be divided into the following characteristics: — Key fertility rates by region; — Live born children by gender and region; — Live-born children by age of mother and region; — Live-born children by rank number from the mother and region; — Live born children according to the marital status of the mother and region. The regions listed in the table are territories, provinces, COROP areas and municipalities. The regional totals presented concern aggregations of municipalities. In case of border changes that cross different regional borders, the classification of municipalities is grouped according to the most recent situation. For example: The municipality of Vianen has moved from the province of Zuid-Holland to the province of Utrecht as of 01-01-2002 and is grouped in this table in the province of Utrecht. Data available from: 1988 Status of the figures: All figures shown in the table are final figures. Amendments as of 29 June 2022: The figures for 2021 have been added. When are new figures coming? In the third quarter of 2023, the final figures for 2022 will be included in this publication.
