In this table you will find information on the number of establishmentes of companies. Companies that become active for the first time may have multiple locations where the business activities are merged. All these opened business locations are counted here separately. The data is available by economic activity, based on the 2008 Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008). The data are also available by region based on the regional breakdown as of 1 January of the reporting year. Data available from: 2007 Status of the figures: The figures up to 2020 are final and the figures for 2021 are provisional. Amendments as of 17 June 2022: The provisional figures for 2021 have been added and the 2020 figures adjusted and are now final. The underlying encodings of the classifications used in this table (SBI 2008 and region) have been adjusted. These are now in line with the standard coding established by CBS. The data for 2015-2019 has been recalculated. An adjustment has been made in 5 % of the table cells. The median adjustment was absolutely -5 and relatively -0.2 %.
