Dataset description

This table contains figures for deceleration of bridge slabs 2008/'09, 2010/'11, 2012/'13, 2014/“15 and 2016/”17. The grades indicate whether they have been delayed for up to seven years after pupils have started in secondary education. For delayed pupils, information is available on whether they have changed the level of education. The data can be further broken down by bridge class type in the start year and several personal characteristics. Information on the educational position, i.e. the number of pupils who are still in secondary education, is also available at any time. Data available from: 2008/'09. Status of the figures: All the figures in this table are final. Changes as of 29 May 2020: None, this is a discontinued table. The reason for cessation of this table is that further insight shows that changes in the level from the first grade can not be properly determined. From school year 2005/'06, pupils in general years can be broken down into more detail by bridge class type. The funding of the schools by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) is not dependent on their registration for the general education years (with the exception of learning supportive education). In other words: a school can decide for itself how detailed it organises pupils in different bridge classes at the time of registration. A pupil who is actually in a havo/vwo bridge class can therefore be assigned by the school to the Education Department (DUO) in a wide vmbo/havo/vwo bridge class. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
