Building permits; number, construction costs, index, nature of work, destination

This table publishes data on the number of environmental permits granted with activity building (building permits) and the estimated construction costs by building destination and type of work. The table also contains the indices of construction costs and the number of permits. The results relate to building permits granted with a construction sum starting from 50 thousand euros, excluding VAT. Data available from January 2012. Status of the figures: The figures from January 2012 to August 2021 are final. The figures from September 2021 are provisional. Municipalities with non-response are estimated. Completed declarations of municipalities over previous periods are included in the figures for the month in which the permit was granted. As a result, figures over the same month may vary over time. 12 months after publication, the provisional figure shall be definitively fixed. Changes as of 20 October 2022: The figures for the August 2022 reporting month have been added and the figures for the August 2021 reporting month have been finalised. Provisional figures from September 2021 to July 2022 may have changed slightly compared to the previous publication. When are new figures coming? The new figures will be published approximately 2 months after the reporting month. The figures for the same reporting month of one year become more than final.
