Dataset description

This table provides up-to-date information on the views of Dutch entrepreneurs on the realisations, expectations and judgements regarding their business. This panel research provides insight into the current situation, the future development and the judgements of Dutch industry. As a result, it is possible to identify changes in optimism or pessimism at an early stage, which provides an early indication of a possible trend change in the economic activities of Dutch business. The data shall be broken down by business activities: sections (SBI 2008) and Region. The questions submitted to entrepreneurs at the beginning of a quarter include production, turnover, prices, orders, stocks, investments, competitiveness, economic climate, workforce and the obstacles encountered by entrepreneurs. In answering the questions relating to developments in the last three months and to expectations for the next three months, economic operators are asked to compare them with the preceding three-month period. Data available from: 1st quarter 2012 Status of the figures: All published figures are final. Changes as of 14 February 2022: The results for Q1 2022 have been added. When will new figures be available? The next publication containing the results up to the 2nd quarter of 2022 is expected to be published in mid-May 2022.
