Dataset description

This table contains figures on the number of companies that have more or fewer employees three years after start-up than in the year of the start. These data are broken down by industry/sector according to the 2008 Standard Business Classification (SBI 2008) and by some size classes. This table has been developed for the State of SMEs programme. Data available from: 2013 Status of the figures: The figures in the 2021 table are provisional, other figures are final. Amendments as of 24 June 2022: Data for 2021 have been added, which have been updated for 2020 on the basis of information made available later and are now final.
