Dataset description

__Description:__ data relating to the number of passenger cars in the municipality. __Reference 1__ shows the number of passenger cars in the municipality in three consecutive years. The numbers of these are either electric or hybrid. Source: Research Centre Drechtsteden (OCD). __Description fields:__ * Car ownership: the total number of passenger cars whose property is registered as in this municipality. A passenger car is defined as: motor vehicle for the carriage of passengers by road, excluding mopeds and motorcycles, with a maximum of 9 seats (including driver’s seat). * Electric: the number of vehicles that are fully electrically driven * Hybrid: the number of vehicles that are partly electrically driven but also have a fuel engine. __Reference 2__ also shows the number of passenger cars, but only owned by private individuals, broken down by older or less than 6 years of age, and type of fuel. The data is available per district in the municipality. Source: Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). __ Goal:__ provide insight into the number of vehicles registered in the municipality. __Opportunities:__ the file is published to allow individuals and organisations to learn about the number of passenger cars in the city and the changes that take place within it. __Restrictions:__ none.
