Dataset description

For the Caribbean Netherlands, this table describes the number of students participating in the government-funded secondary vocational education (MBO) by region (Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba), level, sector and domain. The training courses in the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (cvq) at Sint Eustatius and Saba introduced from 2019/'20 onwards are excluded from this table. With the introduction of the CVQ system, as of school year 2021/'22, there will be no more students at the MBO at Sint Eustatius and Saba. The islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba are part of the Netherlands as a special municipality from 10 October 2010. In order to reflect the situation with young people (Caribbean) in the Netherlands, more than 70 topics are described in the National Youth Monitor in addition to this topic.
