Dataset description

The CBS postcode6 file contains statistical data per full postcode. Data for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019 were supplemented in March 2021. These years now contain data on demographics, housing, energy, income, social security, proximity to facilities and density. The year 2020 has been added and contains figures for some of the topics. The figures for most subjects are stand data as of 1 January. On energy use, household income and number of births, the figures refer to the whole year. Of the more recent years 2019 and 2020, not all data will be immediately available, these will be replenished annually. Data for the year 2015, 2016 and 2017 are freely available. Although all postal code surfaces are present, only those postal code areas contain data on persons in which at least five inhabitants are published and/or data on homes of which at least five homes are published. The delimitation of the postal code planes comes from the ESRI postcode card. This publication is from March 2021.
