Dataset description

This table relates to changes in employment after one year from 15 to 65 years of age in the Netherlands. The change in employment between the first moment of surveying (starting period) and the employment relationship one year later (end of period) is mentioned. In this way, this table describes to what extent people have been exchanged after one year of employment. A change to no work is also included in the table. Four positions are distinguished; permanent employment, flexible employment, self-employment and non-employment. The employment relationship relates to the first employment of people. A change in employment is only about jobs that work at least 12 hours a week. For compiling figures on change of employment, a different weighing method of the EEW applies than for other EBB tables. This allows the figures in this table to differ from other EBB tables. Data available from: 2003 to 2010 Status of the figures The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 23 December 2015: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. New revised tables on the labour force were published on 26 February 2015. This revision of the statistics of the labour force has two parts. The definitions have been adapted to the internationally agreed definitions and data collection has been improved by being the first statistical office in Europe to survey via the Internet. For more information on the revision, see the link to the press release in paragraph 3.
