Dataset description

The data in this table are about change in people’s employment. It has been determined whether people work one year later in the same or in another job. These are so-called transitional tables. This means, for example, for this table that the figures for the year 2008 are about people who work in a different job in 2008 than in 2009. Figures for 2003 refer to changes in employment from 2003 to 2004 and so on. The data in this table are based on the Labour Force Survey (EBB). The EBB is a study carried out by CBS to collect information about the relationship between people and the labour market. In this context, characteristics of individuals are linked to their current or future position in the labour market. For compiling figures on change of employment, a different weighing method of the EBB applies than for other EBB tables. This allows the figures in this table to differ from other EBB tables. Data available from 2003 to 2011 Status of the figures Figures based on the EBB are always final. The figures on type of training, cost training and reason training from 2003 to 2010 are final. The figures on type of training, cost training and reason training for 2011 are provisional. Changes as of 10-10-2016 None, this table has been discontinued When are new figures coming? No longer applicable. This table is followed by the employee; change of employer. See paragraph 3.
