Dataset description

This table contains part of the results of the Housing Statistics. In this table, the following data on housing construction is published: — the housing stock start period and end period; — the number of new-build homes completed by property; — the other additions by ownership; — the removals of housing stock by property; — the balance increase in the housing stock; — the administrative corrections to the housing stock. These data are further broken down into the following regional breakdowns: — Districts, provinces, districts, metropolitan agglomerations, COROP areas, and municipalities. Data available from: 1st quarter 1995, quarterly Corrected by: 22 November 2013 Reason correction: The figures for the divisions of the 1st and 3 rd quarters of 2002 have been adjusted to the census of the underlying municipalities. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. When are new figures coming? This table was discontinued as of 30-11-2012. Reason for cessation: The data on the housing stock will come from the Basic Registers Addresses and Buildings (BAG) from January 2012; these figures do not match existing statistics. The housing stock figures from January 2012 are published in other monthly and annual tables (see paragraph 3). For figures on building permits and data on changes in the housing stock from 2012 see the theme page Building and Housing (see also section 3).
