Dataset description

This table provides information about children aged 0 to 18 who have a chance to grow up in poverty. The figures in the table come from the Regional Income Survey (RIO). The RIO focuses on private households with an income for 52 weeks. In the table, this target population is broken down by children in different age categories into multi-person households. These multi-person households have received an income for 52 weeks, the amount of which is no more than 120 % of the social minimum. The figures can be divided into different regional divisions. In the regional division by municipality, the municipal classification is applied as of 1 January of the year following the reporting year. In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, more than 70 topics are described in the National Youth Monitor. The topics are called indicators. Status of the figures The figures are final. Changes as of 16 March 2018: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
