Construction; productive hours in civil and utility construction

This table provides quarterly insight into the evolution of the number of productive hours per full-time employee in civil and utility construction (B & U): SBI 412. The number of productive hours is calculated by reducing the number of theoretically available hours by the number of non-productive hours due to holidays, holidays, absenteeism, strike, frost and precipitation, etc. All figures are rounded to 5. Data available from: The first quarter of 1990. Status of the figures: The figures for the four most recent quarters are provisional, the remaining final. Amendments as of 15 July 2022: The figures for quarter 2 of 2022 have been added. When are new figures coming? As a rule, CBS publishes the first preliminary results within six to eight weeks after the end of the quarter. After publication of final results, CBS will only adjust the results if major adjustments and/or corrections are necessary.
