Dataset description

This table provides information on the quarterly development of the value of new commissions received by architects in civil and utility construction. The data can be divided into new housing and non-residential contracts (offices, factories, hospitals, etc.) For both categories of buildings, a distinction can be made between new construction and not new construction (renovation and the like). The results are expressed in indices based on the year 2007. Developments in relation to the same period of the previous year have also been indicated. The population of architects studied includes companies that have their main activity in carrying out architectural activities (according to the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008): SBI 7111). Data available from: The first quarter 2007 to the fourth quarter 2012. Status of the figures: The figures for the third and fourth quarters and the year 2012 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive. Changes as of 12 July 2013: None, this table has been discontinued. When are new figures coming? This table is followed by 'Construction of new assignments received by architects; index 2010 = 100’. See also paragraph 3. The statistical examination which forms the basis of the results in this table has undergone a significant change from the date of publication of the first reporting period of 2013: In 2013, switched from reference year 2007 to 2010 (2010 = 100).
