Dataset description

This table provides information on the evolution of domestic turnover from companies in the construction industry. These are quarterly and yearly series from 2004-2008. The data can be divided into branches and size of business. The results are expressed in indices based on the year 2000. The trend is also relative to the same period of indicated the year before. The data in this table are presented by industry according to two layouts: — by the so-called Standard Business Classification 1993 (SBI '93); — based on an alternative classification derived from the SBI '93. Data available from: 2004-2008. Status of the figures: All figures are final. Changes as of 23 June 2009: Response for the months of November 2008 and December 2008 has been implemented in the outcomes. The growth rate is in most branches of the construction industry hardly corrected (some tithes of one percentage point). This table was discontinued as of December 2008. The statistical study that the basis of the results in this table has since in January 2009, two major changes were made. — First, the basis for the indices has been shifted from the year 2000 to 2005. — Second, CBS’s Standard Business Classification (SBI) is drastic revisited. As a result, the figures from 2009 are no longer comparable to the previous ones. for years. Therefore, CBS releases a new table. See for more information paragraphs 3 and 4.
