Dataset description

In this table you will find an overview of citizens’ experiences with the police on the basis of the Security Monitor Rijk (VMR). It is about contacts between citizens and police for enforcement purposes, because of reporting or reporting, or for other reasons. It always concerns data on the population aged 15 years or older, unless otherwise stated. Included are the national figures and figures by personal and neighbourhood characteristics. The neighbourhoods are classified according to 6-digit postal codes as described in the table <a href="https://statline.cbs.nl/StatWeb/publication/?DM=SLNL&PA=70904NED&D1=0, 9,12-16,119-122 &AMP; D2=10073-10091,10093-10096,10099-10125,10127-10141 &AMP; D3=4 &AMP; VW= T">Kern data districts and neighbourhoods 2003-2008. The VMR was implemented in the first quarter of the years. 005 to 2008. Because a large part of the VMR relates to experience in the previous 12 months have been linked to this each time the neighbourhood data about the year preceding the interview year of the VMR. Change in question, research design and/or context are the VMR data not comparable to data from other sources, such as the Integral Safety Monitor (As of 2008) and previous safety and/or victim surveys. Data available: 2005 to 2008 This table was discontinued as from 15-3-2013 and continued as “Personal Experiences with the Police; Police Region (IVM)”. See also paragraph 3. Status of the figures: final When are new figures coming? This table has been discontinued.
