Dataset description

Death within 1 year of first hospitalisation of persons in the registered population of the Netherlands, by age, gender and diagnosis of hospitalisation according to a selection from the list of major causes of death (Beldo). The Beldo List is a list of major primary causes of death divided into 94 diagnostic groups. The classification almost corresponds to the European Shortlist, as used by Eurostat. ICD9 code: 001-999. Data available: 2000-2005 Status of the figures: It concerns final outcomes. Changes compared to the previous version: This table was discontinued after the 2005 reporting year. The reason for this is that the source registration has not become sufficiently comprehensive. As a result, it can statistics are no longer well distracted. When are new figures coming? This table has been discontinued.
