Deceased by medical decision on end of life and cause of death, 2005

The Death Study provides information about medical decisions taken by the treating physician around the end of life. For the study, a sample was drawn from the causes of death of people who died in the months of August to November of the year of research and who belonged to the population of the Netherlands at the time of death. The sample data has been converted into annual figures. This table refers to the deceased by medical decision on the end of life by cause of death and age. Data available for 2005 (full calendar year) Status of the figures These are definitive figures. When are new figures coming? This is a one-time table. The death investigation is carried out five years.
