Dataset description

Defence work from the 1930s in defence of Dutch territory or for defence built by the German occupier between 1940 and 1945. The category includes, in particular, the following objects:1)kazemat: self-contained concrete (“bomb-free”) accommodation for the housing of guns, troops or supplies. The German name for casemat is bunker., 2) anti-tank wall: wall of concrete and iron intended to make tanks impossible the passageway. 3) anti-tank moat: watercourse with steep banks to stop tanks 4) dragon sand barrier (Höckerhindernisse), partially excavated, tapered concrete elements to stop tanks.
