Derogation for intensive livestock farming plot Veenhuizen 18A in Onstwedde (Environmental Regulation)

This stock contains a plot with a different scheme for intensive livestock farming in the provincial Environmental Regulation Province of Groningen. With this derogation, the municipality of Stadskanaal can contribute planologically to the construction of a poultry house on the plot Veenhuizen 18A in Onstwedde, provided that a number of conditions relating to sustainability and nitrogen deposition are met. The number of animals authorised on a provincial scale may not increase in balance. One condition for the extension to the plot Veenhuizen 18A in Onstwedde is that the intensive livestock farm on the plot Dorpsstraat 18 in Vriescheloo has been definitively terminated in law and in fact. This derogation concerns an exception to the current provincial policy. This is a pilot for a possible province-wide approach. Initially, this exception applies only to the abovementioned parcels because of the location of the two farms at a relatively short distance from the Lieftinghsbroek nature reserve.
