Educational institutions; finance 1998-2009

The figures presented relate to data from the annual accounts of the subsidised educational institutions in primary, secondary (continued) education and secondary vocational education) and tertiary education (higher vocational and scientific education). The educational institutions funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) and by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture innovation (EL & I). Educational institutions are required by law to submit annual accounts to the Ministry of OCW by 1 July each year serve. The Education Annual Report Directive lays down the manner in which the annual accounts must be prepared. This Directive shall apply from 2008 report updated and now fully aligned with the legal prescribed Directive for the Annual Reporting (Civil Code, Book 2, Title 9). The Education Execution Service (DUO, formerly CFI), a benefit-burden service of the Ministry of OCW, processes the data from the annual accounts and provide it in file form to CBS. Dates on primary education are only from the reporting year 2006 these institutions have been available since the introduction of the lumpsum funding in that year with financial statements be accountable to OCW.
