Emergency Salvation Areas (Environmental Regulation 2016)

This file contains emergency salvage areas as defined in the Environmental Regulation of the Province of Groningen 2016. In this Environment Regulation, we have included destinations and rules to ensure the suitability of these areas for the function of emergency storage. In any case, these rules contain a ban on building other than high-water resistant buildings and a ban on constructing other than high-water-resistant infrastructure. Emergency recovery areas act as additional water storage areas for those situations where all water storage areas are already in use and even more temporary storage capacity is needed. Emergency storage areas are used on average once in 100 years or less.
