Dataset description

This table contains annual figures on working within or outside working hours of the working population.The population aged 15 to 75 (excluding the institutional population) with paid work is classified according to their working hours. In the “Work hours” tab, information is available on whether one is working regularly, sometimes or not at times outside office hours. Work outside office hours involves evening work (between 19.00 and 00.00 hours), night work (between 00.00 and 6.00h) or weekend work (working on Saturdays and/or Sundays). In addition, information on shiftwork is also available. The tab 'Working outside office hours contains information about being regularly, sometimes or not working in the evening, night, Saturday or Sunday. This makes it possible to check whether certain working hours occur at the same time.For example, or people who work regularly in the evening also regularly work in the night. The different groups are further distinguished by gender, by position in the workplace and by age, educational level, working hours, household position and professional class (BRC 2014). Data available from 2003 to 2020. Status of the figures: None, this table has been discontinued. Changes as of 14 November 2019: The figures on the level of education in this table have been corrected for the period 2012-2018. This is a correction in the distraction of the level of education of persons who indicate that they have obtained a diploma abroad with a level similar to the higher education level. This group was wrongly awarded the level associated with an MBO2 training. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
